3 waterfall to see in Spain

Here are 3 waterfalls that are well worth a visit. Enjoy nature with the peaceful sound of flowing water.

El Molinar, Alcoy

It’s a place where you can discover the industrial remains of old flour mills and fulling mills right in the middle of nature. This was an ideal location for mills, as the large quantities of water available made it possible to grind wheat quickly. As you stroll along, you’ll find a large waterfall and several streams running downhill. It’s highly recommended to visit in autumn, especially after torrential rains, to fully appreciate the phenomenon. Behind the beautiful building, if we continue along the path, we’ll find an old dam and aqueduct, a small spring water source and the remains of the first industrial buildings in the Molinar basin, the so-called First Water mills, some 18th-century paper and flour mills built on the remains of the old 15th-century Ferro fulling mill.
