The nights in Lapland are magical. You will venture into the frigid Arctic nights, far from the lights of civilization, in search of the legendary Northern Lights. When conditions are right, you’ll marvel at the dance of colors in the sky, as green, pink and purple lights illuminate the darkness of the night.

Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, you will be transferred comfortably by taxi to your hotel.

During your stay in Rovaniemi, you will have the opportunity to explore the city and its surroundings, immersing yourself in its unique charm. From the famous Santa Claus Village, where you can experience the magic of Christmas all year round, to crossing the Arctic Circle, there are a host of experiences waiting for you.

Day 2Rovaniemi

Wake up to a delicious breakfast at the hotel, preparing to immerse yourself in the true magic of Lapland. The second day of your adventure will take you to the fascinating Santa Claus Village, located in the iconic Arctic Circle.

Your first stop will be to participate in the traditional ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle, where you will have the opportunity to receive a diploma certifying your visit to this unique region in the world. It is a memorable moment that will connect you with the greatness of nature and the essence of the Arctic!

After the ceremony, you will have free time to explore Santa Claus Village. You can enjoy a delicious lunch, stroll through the picturesque streets and immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere that surrounds this special place. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Santa‘s official home and meet the local star in person. You can take a photo with Santa Claus and share your Christmas wishes.

Plus, you can visit Santa’s post office and send a special letter to a loved one, sealed with Santa’s official seal. Imagine the excitement that special person will feel when receiving a letter directly from Santa Claus Village!

Before returning to the hotel, you will enjoy a comforting hot drink around a warm campfire. It’s the perfect time to relax, share stories and enjoy the cozy atmosphere that surrounds you.

After a day full of unforgettable experiences, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Rovaniemi. Take advantage of this night to rest and recharge your batteries for the exciting moments that await you in the coming days.

Day 3Rovaniemi – Saariselka

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have free time to enjoy Rovaniemi at your own pace. You can take this opportunity to explore more of the city, visit its charming cafes, do some unique souvenir shopping or simply stroll through the picturesque streets filled with winter atmosphere.

Later, we will transfer by bus to Saariselkä, a beautiful mountain tourist destination located in the Lapland region. This picturesque place offers a unique experience amidst stunning natural landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere.

In Saariselkä, you’ll spend the night at the charming Northern Lights Village, a specially designed accommodation to give you the best chance of witnessing the stunning Northern Lights. Its cozy glass cabins will allow you to enjoy a panoramic view of the starry sky and, if you are lucky, witness the magical dance of the northern lights.

In addition to northern lights hunting, Saariselkä offers a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy during the day. From reindeer sleigh tours to snowmobiling, you’ll have the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of this mountainous region and immerse yourself in the wilderness of Lapland.

After a day full of excitement and adventure, you will return to your cozy accommodation in the Northern Lights Village to relax and enjoy the tranquility of this unique environment.

Day 4Saariselka

Start your day in Saariselkä with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for an exciting experience. Today you will visit a Husky dog farm, where you will learn everything about these beautiful animals and their lifestyle. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of huskies as you receive an introduction and enjoy a short show.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to participate in a mini husky sleigh safari, traveling 3 km under the guidance of an experienced musher. Enjoy the speed and adrenaline as you glide through the winter landscape. Don’t forget to take photos with these magnificent dogs and take the opportunity to ask any questions you have about this activity and sport.

Continuing with the adventure, you will visit a reindeer farm, where an authentic shepherd will tell you everything about these majestic animals and the practice of herding. Here, you will have the incredible opportunity to drive a reindeer sleigh and enjoy a 1km ride, immersing yourself in Sami culture and experiencing a traditional form of transportation in the Arctic.

It is important to highlight that in these regions the treatment of animals is excellent, since the farms are managed by families and not by large companies, guaranteeing the well-being of the animals at all times. You will take a Northern Lights Safari by snowmobile. This exciting tour will give you the opportunity to explore the beauty of the night landscape and, weather conditions permitting, witness the dance of the dazzling northern lights.

After a day full of adventure and excitement, you will return to the hotel in Saariselkä to rest and recharge your batteries for the wonders that await you in the coming days.

Accommodation in Iceland will be in 3 or 4 star hotels in double or single rooms depending on availability.

Transportation will be by private bus. Important: On this trip, the group may be divided into several buses in case of high demand, so for logistical reasons, Unitrips does not ensure that all travelers take the tour in the same bus. Unitrips will allocate bus seats to passengers.

The main language of the tour will be Spanish . However, translations will be provided as far as possible for English-speaking participants as it is not feasible to conduct the tour in 2 languages at the same time.

As it is a group trip, it will only be carried out with a minimum of 20 participants per trip.
