After a 20-minute walk, we enjoyed the sea, i.e. the Mediterranean in 2007. The America’s Cup sailing competition was held there. The “Veles e Vents” building by British architect David Chipperfield was the official balcony for VIPs and tourists. Today, thanks to the large number of restaurants and bars, it is the perfect “meeting point” in spring, summer, autumn and sometimes also in winter.

Undoubtedly, one of the most relevant buildings of the complex. Science, architecture and fun for everyone. An area of 20,000 square meters. Dynamic and modern at the same time.
The main projection room can accommodate more than 300 spectators. A huge screen 900 m² high and 24 m in diameter. Here we enjoy documentaries and films about science, nature and landscapes. The concrete eye support incorporates a vertical eyelid that can be raised to allow views across the pool.
Renowned conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta or Lorin Maazel have shown here the best of their repertoire. Operas such as “Don Giovanni”, “Aida” or “La Traviata” are some of the works that the public has enjoyed. A 5-star opera house of international standard.
The most representative flora and vegetation of the Mediterranean Sea can be found here. The perfect place to enjoy nature in the city, an incredible viewpoint of the whole complex and, not least, a wonderful “meeting point” in the Valencian summer nights.
